Wash your hands! It sounds very simple, but it really isn't.
Many of us are aware that washing hands after using the toilet, before eating, or after using public transport prevents the spread of disease. But only 5% of people wash their hands properly. According to a study involving more than 3,000 people, 10% of those who use public toilets do not wash their hands, and 33% of those who do wash do not use soap. Unfortunately, this is important. Because we inevitably bring our hands to our face and germs can enter our body through our nose or mouth.
Researchers in Brazil and the United States found that if we hit surfaces 3.3 times an hour in public spaces, we touch our mouths and noses 3.6 times an hour.
There is no doubt that we have to wash our hands properly.
Do you need to dry your hands after washing?
When we are in a hurry, we continue our work and our hands become dry. If you don't touch anything while leaving the footpath, there is no harm in it.
Otherwise, if you touch your hands, then the germs can spread more on your hands, because germs spread faster in moisture. One of the benefits of hand drying is being able to wipe away any remaining germs.
Reactive hand dryers are extremely powerful, causing germs to spread rapidly throughout the room. In a study conducted by the University of Westminster, powerful hand dryers were found to move the virus 1.5 meters across the room. A later study found that the virus spread over three times the distance. For this reason, paper towels are more effective and hygienic. Depending on the technology of its preparation and its quality, the hand towels ensure that the level of hygiene is always maintained at a high level in any institution.
